TOOLING DESIGN

T.D.I.M. Ltd. designs assembly and sub-assembly tooling. Tooling can be designed for aircraft assemblies, automotive industries, and other applications. We also design tooling for sheet-metal assemblies and machined parts.

With more than 46 years of experience in this specific field, T.D.I.M. provides reverse-engineering services for large parts, including highly accurate scanning using the Leica ATS600 laser tracker.

INDUSTRIAL MEASUREMENT

T.D.I.M. Ltd. provides measurement solution systems tailored to specific customer requirements.

T.D.I.M. acquired the first-ever laser tracker for direct scanning and provides laser tracker measurement services using the Leica ATS600.

Our services include:

  • 3D scanning and reverse engineering

  • Tooling, jigs and fixtures inspection

  • Fast and accurate dimensional measurement

  • Complete 3D station measurement using Sokkia NET05

  • Design of accessories or TurnKey solutions for specialized measurement requirements

  • Machine alignment measurements, including the design and manufacture of specialized measurement targets

  • High-precision surface leveling using electronic measurement equipment

  • Machine rail alignment

  • Plane, parallelism, pitch and roll measurements

  • Autocollimation procedure design or testing-target services

Our equipment utilizes the SpatialAnalyzer metrology software suite, supplied by Hexagon – New River Kinematics.

SPECIAL-PURPOSE MACHINE DESIGN

T.D.I.M. Ltd. specializes in the design of machines for special-purpose requirements.

Special-purpose machines can be supplied as complete TurnKey projects, including:

  • Measurement machines, manually or electrically/hydraulically/pneumatically operated

  • Assembly and sub-assembly machines

  • Tooling designed for specific applications

  • Prototype and prototype-development machines

  • Upgrades to existing machines by adding a required or specifically defined mechanism

T.D.I.M. Ltd. is also available to assist customers in solving specific engineering requirements, including consulting services for individual technical challenges.

SPECIAL AIRCRAFT PROJECTS

T.D.I.M. Ltd. provides management and engineering services for specialized aircraft-related technical projects.

Services include:

  • Harmonization tooling design and TurnKey tooling management

  • Development of harmonization procedures and definition of required accessories

  • TurnKey implementation of harmonization procedures, including customer training

  • Consulting on specific harmonization requirements

  • 3D contour scanning and measurement, converted into 3D CAD models

  • Reverse engineering of parts that cannot be transferred to CMM machines for measurement
